Met Superstars V8 Next Challenge ontwikkelt Milestone momenteel een vervolg voor Superstars V8 Racing. Het spel moet in 2010 op de PC, de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360 verschijnen.
De Achievements van het spel zijn reeds een tijdje bekend, maar op de Trophies moesten we tot vandaag wachten. Typisch zijn er weinig verschillen tussen Trophies en Achievements, maar in dit geval zijn de verschillen er wel. De PS3 versie heeft namelijk maar 36 Trophies tegen de 50 Achievements van de Xbox 360 versie. Ook het origineel telde minder Trophies dan Achievements. De game bevat twintig bronzen, tien zilveren en vijf gouden Trophies naast de obligatoire Platinum Trophy.
