De Wii Motion Plus werd afgelopen E3 aangekondigd en is een uitbreiding op de WiiMote, waarmee bewegingen van de speler acurater naar het spel kunnen worden vertaald.
Bij sommige games zal deze accessoire sowieso nodig zijn om het spel te kunnen spelen, bij sommige spellen wordt het optioneel. In ieder geval zal Nintendo proberen het ding zo goedkoop mogelijk in de winkel te leggen, aldus Satoru Iwata van Nintendo.
