Lange tijd konden we alleen maar gissen naar het precieze verhaal rondom Bungie en Microsoft, vandaag geeft laatstgenoemde middels een persbericht dan eindelijk duidelijkheid.
Microsoft kondigt aan dat er een plan uitgestippeld is waarin Bungie Studios een onafhankelijk bedrijf zal worden. In deze onafhankelijkheid zal Microsoft overigens een rol blijven spelen, de Halo reeks is immers eigendom van het bedrijf, andere games kunnen echter wel multiplatform gaan.
