Hoewel Plants vs. Zombies 2 alweer meer dan twee jaar geleden verscheen is het spel nog altijd actueel door de updates die ervoor worden uitgebracht, waarbij Electronic Arts vandaag aankondigt wat ons te wachten staat.
De aankomende update staat geheel in het teken van de prehistorie, er worden namelijk drie nieuwe dinosauriërs aan de game toegevoegd. Een klein overzicht van wat we mogen verwachten:
New plants include those with some primal abilities, such as the Primal Peashooter that can instantly stun, the Primal Wall-nut that offers protection, and the Grapeshot Premium Plant that explodes and scatters projectiles that bounce to damage zombies. The three dinosaurs being introduced with the update include the Raptor, a dinosaur which has the ability to kick a zombie forward down the lane, a Stegosaurus with the ability to catapult zombies into adjacent lanes, and the Pterodactyl.
Hiernaast mogen we uit kijken naar een twaalfdaagse Mega World Wide Event, Food Fight genaamd, die start op 18 november. Het evenement heeft een herfstthema door de planten- en zombiekostuums. Spelers kunnen verder twee Special Edition Premium Planets gebruiken, namelijk de terugkerende Sweet Potato en Dandelion planten.
De Jurassic Marsh Part One update bevat zestien levels en herfstzombies als de Turkey Zombie, Gobbler King Zombie en Chefster Zombie.
