In samenwerking met Electronic Arts ontwikkelt Crytek momenteel een PlayStation 3 en Xbox 360 versie van Crysis, minus de multiplayer. In Crysis wordt de wereld overheerst door twee supermachten, de Verenigde Staten en Noord-Korea. Op een gegeven moment crasht een asteroïde op de Aarde en beide machten willen de buitenaardse technologie op de asteroïde bemachtigen. Jij speelt een Delta Force agent die de technologie moet bemachtigen.
De Achievements van de game kun je voorlopig nog niet registreren op je Xbox profiel, de PlayStation 3 Trophies hebben dat probleem nog niet. Je kunt meteen aan de slag en proberen om de volgende 41 Trophies te verdienen. Er zijn 28 bronzen, negen zilveren, drie gouden en één platina trophy.
