Guitar Hero, de muziekgame waarmee je met een gitaarcontroller je favoriete rocknummers naspeelt is erg populair. Dat vraagt natuurlijk om nieuwe versies. Momenteel werkt men bij Neversoft hard aan Guitar Hero III, maar dat is niet de enige Guitar Hero die dit jaar moet verschijnen. Ze komen ook met de PS2 game Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the 80s.
