Met PlayStation Plus lanceerde Sony Computer Entertainment midden 2010 een abonnementsservice voor de PlayStation 3. In ruil voor een kleine som kun je elke maand genieten van een selectie gratis games en kortingen.
Op 2 mei vernieuwt Sony Computer Entertainment de PlayStation Plus content opnieuw en de maand voor de tweede verjaardag van het systeem wordt de drukste ooit. Tot en met 6 juni (tenzij anders vermeld) kun je maar liefst negen gratis PSN games downloaden, samen met nog eens twee Mini's en een PlayStation 2 Classic. Daarnaast brengt men nog eens zeventien nieuwe Full Game Trials.
