De E3 is nog niet eens begonnen, maar de eerste beelden van de games stromen al binnen. Ditmaal is Prince of Persia 2, opvolger van Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time de pineut.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time werd door de pers de hemel in geprezen en de makers ontvangen de ene prijs na de andere. Toch was de game niet zo'n commercieel succes als verwacht. Het vervolg op Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is een tijdje geleden al aangekondigt, maar beelden kregen we toen nog niet. Daar is nu dus gelukkig verandering in gekomen. Naast twee screenshots liet Ubisoft ook nog wat info over de game uit in de vorm van een persbericht.




Ubisoft had het volgende over de game te vertellen:
