Omdat hardware steeds krachtiger én betaalbaarder aan het worden is zagen we van zowel de PlayStation 4 als Xbox One al krachtigere modellen verschijnen in de vorm van respectievelijk de PlayStation 4 Pro en Xbox One X. De vraag is tegelijkertijd; wanneer komen beide partijen met een ware opvolger van deze systemen?
Het is een vraag waar ook Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot op in gaat. Omdat de PlayStation 4 Pro vorig jaar is gelanceerd en de Xbox One X net verkrijgbaar is zal het nog minimaal twee jaar duren voordat we ware opvolgers zien verschijnen.
