Onder leiding van Sony Computer Entertainment ontwikkelde het voormalige Gaikai-team PlayStation Now, een geëvolueerde versie van hun cloud-streaming service die toelaat games te streamen naar PC en PlayStation 4.
Tot nu toe kan dat alleen maar met PlayStation 3 games, maar vanaf nu kan het ook met PlayStation 4 games. Er werden er meteen 51 beschikbaar gemaakt in de streaming service.
