Japans onderzoeksbureau Media Create zorgt wekelijks voor een compleet overzicht van de Japanse verkoopcijfers. Het geeft ons een inzicht in de verkopen op een wekelijkse basis. Het bedrijf geeft ons nu de verkopen tussen 24 tot 30 oktober 2016.
Het was een week waarin Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization en World of Final Fantasy het tegen elkaar opnamen. Die eerste kwam daarbij als overwinnaar uit de bus. Lager in de charts vinden we onder andere Berserk and the Band of the Hawk en Titanfall 2.

De hoeveelheid van PlayStation 4 games heeft een klein effect op de verkopen van de console. Deze kende de grootste stijging. Ook andere consoles kenden echter een stijging. Zo gingen onder andere de PlayStation Vita en de New 3DS LL vooruit.
