Met Quantum Theory ontwikkelt Tecmo momenteel een nieuwe Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3 game. Het spel is een Third Person Shooter waarin Syd en Fillena samenwerken om een gigantische toren te beklimmen. Ze hebben elkaars hulp sterk nodig want de toren wordt bevolkt met allerlei monsters en demonen.
De eerste impressies van Quantum Theory waren allesbehalve goed en ook vandaag de dag ziet de game er weinig indrukwekkend uit. De game is echter uitgesteld om meer kwaliteit te gaan bieden en dat moet de game goed doen. Ontwikkelaar Tecmo Koei heeft alvast vertrouwen en meldt dat Quantum Theory een verrassing wordt voor mensen die zomaar weer een shooter verwachten. Hoewel de gelijkenissen met Gears of War erg sterk zijn heeft Quantum Theory toch wat te bieden in de vorm van de nieuwe coöperatieve gameplay en de veranderende omgevingen. Positieve woorden dus van de ontwikkelaar.
