Alvorens bedrijven een game in de markt brengen dienen ze eerst een patent op de naam aan te vragen, om deze naam zo veilig te stellen tegenover anderen.
Ook Bungie, het bedrijf achter de Halo titels, vroeg onlangs een tweetal nieuwe patenten aan. De eerste titel heet Marathon, terwijl de tweede de naam Bungie Aerospace draagt. Over beide projecten is nog niets bekend, maar de laatste heeft al wel een logo, alsmede een uitleg over het logo:
