Acclaim heeft wat informatie over hun komende worstel-game, Legends of Wrestling 3: Showdown, vrijgegeven. Ze hebben niets over de gameplay gezegd, maar wel wat over een character in de game.
''The American Dream'' Dusty Rhodes zal namelijk in de game zitten. Dit deelde Acclaim erg blij mee. Dusty Rhodes was een professionele worstelaar voor zo'n 30 jaar. Met de ''Bionic Elbow''-drop heeft hij 3 jaar achter elkaar de NWA World Heavyweight (WCW World Heavyweight Title) gewonnen.
David Knies, hoofd van Legend of Wresting, zei: "We're excited to add one of wrestling's greatest champions, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, to our expanding dream roster of wrestling legends. Through Showdown's era-based career mode fans can relive "The American Dream's" rise through the '70s and '80s and can re-create his classic feuds and battles against some of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling."
