De film Arthur and the Minimoys werd al voorzien van een game, kennelijk beviel dit zo goed dat ook de sequels al voorzien zijn van games.
Ubisoft laat vandaag weten dat de twee sequels op de film, te weten Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard (2009) en Arthur and the Two Worlds War (2010) beide voorzien worden van een game uit hun stal. Door een samenwerking met EuropaCorp hebben zij de rechten binnen gehaald om de games te ontwikkelen, net als zijn voorgangers bestaan de games uit een combinatie CG animaties en live action.
