Codemasters, de studio achter titels als TOCA Touring Car of Colin McRae, is overgenomen door Balderton Capital. Echt als een verrassing komt het bericht echter niet.
Het bedrijf had al zeventig procent van de aandelen van Codemasters in handen, voor een bedrag van nog eens 74 miljoen Euro zijn ook de andere dertig procent aangeschaft.
De CEO van Codemasters had het volgende te zeggen over de overname:
