Ministers laten zich over het algemeen weinig positief uit over games, toch is Shaun Woodward een positieve uitzondering.
De beste man is de Britse minister van Creative Industries en heeft aangegeven graag een games academie te zien:

"[The British games industry] is now recognising that 'actually we're huge, maybe we need to build our own institutional bricks. You see television and films schools but we don't have a video-games school. Why not? Because [the sector] is so new. And yet we're the third largest manufacturer in the world. And that's the sense of catch up here."
Of we in de nabije toekomst scholen als paddestoelen uit de grond zullen zien schieten? We wachten het af.
