Activision heeft aangekondigd dat Call of Duty: Black Ops en Call of Duty: Black Ops II van een port worden voorzien op PlayStation. Of het gaat om de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, of beide, is onbekend.
Call of Duty: Black Ops werd in 2010 uitgebracht voor Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 en PC, en drie jaar later verscheen Black Ops II op PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U en PC. Hoewel de Xbox 360 en PC versies nog altijd speelbaar zijn op moderne platformen middels backwards compatibility was dit niet het geval voor de PlayStation 4 en PlayStation 5.
De nieuwe PlayStation ports bevatten de campaign, multiplayer en zombies modi.
