Na een lange tijd van geruchten is het vandaag eindelijk zover, de Ubisoft service onder de naam Ubisoft+ Multi Access is nu beschikbaar op de Xbox.
Ubisoft+ Multi Access is het premium niveau van de abonnementsdienst en laat spelers toe om met één abonnement toegang te krijgen tot hun games op meerdere platformen. Deze dienst was eerder al beschikbaar op de PC en Amazon Luna en we kunnen hier nu de Xbox One en Xbox Series consoles aan toevoegen.
Volgens Ubisoft's Philippe Tremblay is het doel om toegang te geven tot vrijwel de volledige catalogus aan games, met zo weinig mogelijk uitzonderingen. Hierbij gaat het niet alleen om de hoofdgames, maar voor zoveel mogelijk titels willen ze ook de downloadable content beschikbaar stellen, alsmede extra in-game extras.
