Nieuws: Resident Evil 4 wordt Game of the Year

Elk jaar reikt Spike TV, een Amerikaanse televisiezenders, de 'Video Game Awards' uit. Hoewel de show pas op 10 december zal uitgezonden worden op Spike TV is de inhoud van de show en de winnaars al bekend, de opnames zijn namelijk al voorbij. Dit jaar presenteerde Samuel L. Jackson de show.
Er waren optredens van 50 Cent, Def Leppard en Missy Elliott. Tijdens de show van 2 uur waren er ook verschijningen van Charlize Theron, Kiefer Sutherland, Jack Black, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rock, Vin Diesel, Carson Daly, Donald Faison, Jaime Pressly, Josie Maran, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Carmen Electra, Natasha Bedinfield en Dane Cook.
Resident Evil 4 won de titel 'Game of the Year' maar games zoals Peter Jackson's King Kong, True Crime: New York City en God of War gingen met meer prijzen naar huis. World of Warcraft ging zelfs met vier awards naar huis.

Goeie mep voor Nintendo, dat idd niks heeft gepresteerd afgelopen jaar. Dat God of War zo goed scoort is wel mooi om te zien. De PSP een breakthrough in technology...tja, als t alleen in technology een breakthrough blijft hebben wij gamers er nog niks aan

Weer lekker overdreven negatief over Nintendo Roderick.
De best game of the year is immers 'slechts' het grootste deel van t jaar exclusief Nintendo GameCube geweest.

Muah, met games als Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Wario Ware: Touched, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Battalion Wars, Geist, Kirby Canvas Curse, Pokémon Emerald en nog een aantal titels vind ik niet dat ze 'niks' gepresteerd hebben. Hier kan menig developer nog een puntje aan zuigen

AFGELOPEN JAAR! Noem dan geen gloednieuwe games. Daarbij Pokemon Emerald, Geist en Batallion wars als toppers noemen is sowieso stom. Dit gaat om de beste games van t jaar en als je met die aankomt kan ik niks anders dan lachen.
En sebastiaan, ik bedoelde idd nintendo als dev. RE4 is voor de cube idd heel goed geweest
