Ook dit jaar zullen de BAFTA Game Awards worden uitgereikt, waarbij titels in diverse genres vechten om diverse prijzen, gekeken naar het jaar 2012. Vandaag zijn de nominaties bekend gemaakt.
De PlayStation Network titel Journey wist al veel indruk te maken waardoor de titel maar liefst in acht categorieën genomineerd is, waaronder die van beste game. The Walking Dead komt er net achter met zeven nominaties, Far Cry 3 heeft er zes en de PC en Mac titel Dear Esther zou zomaar vijf prijzen kunnen winnen. Met vier nominaties maken ook Halo 4, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed 3 en The Room (iOS) een goed ekans op een prijs.
De officiële winnaars worden op 5 maart bekend gemaakt in Londen, echter zal de uitzending pas op 11 maart in Groot-Brittannië worden uitgezonden. Onderstaand de lijst met nominaties.
