Eerder vandaag hadden we al een nieuwspost over Factor 5 en haar relatie tot de Nintendo Wii, vorig jaar kwamen ze echter met een titel waar veel minder enthousiast op gereageerd werd.
Vorig jaar bracht de ontwikkelaar namelijk de PlayStation 3 game Lair op de markt. In het spel bestuurde je een draak door de Sixaxis te kantelen, maar er waren maar weinig gamers die deze stugge controls onder de vingers kregen en daadwerkelijk konden genieten van de game.
In gesprek met IGN geeft Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht aan dat hij de problemen begrijpt, maar dat de game zelf helemaal niet slecht was en traditionele controls ervoor gezorgd konden hebben dat het spel een stuk positiever zou worden ontvangen.
In het vervolg van het gesprek lijkt het erop dat Eggebrecht tussen de regels door al een sequel aankondigt, of gaat het om een fix voor het eerste deel? Beoordeel zelf:

I can't say anything quite yet, but there might be something in the works there. We might have a chance yet to bring those back to the table and hopefully, if that should happen, they would give the game a second chance Nevertheless, we definitely took a long look at the results and learned a couple of lessons. If you're on a platform where this whole motion control is something new and not being pitched as the main feature of the platform, you should probably give the choice between having different control schemes, there is absolutely no doubt about it."
