Met Bioshock, Halo 3, The Orange Box en Call of Duty 4 heeft de Xbox 360 elke maand een enorme topper gehad sinds augustus. Met Mass Effect lijkt er voor dit jaar even een einde aan het aantal toppers te komen en we zijn benieuwd hoe Mass Effect deze reeks zal afsluiten.
Het Official Xbox Magazine geeft de game alvast de maximale score (net als Bioshock, The Orange Box en Call of Duty 4) en noemt de game "de beste game die we ooit gespeeld hebben". Dat laatste maakt de beoordeling van de game behoorlijk spraakmakend en interessant, vandaar dat we hem hier op Gamed even laten opduiken.
