Wat een serie van 12 afleveringen moest worden liep uiteindelijk uit tot een serie van vier seizoenen en een aansluitende film. Hoewel de serie inmiddels gestopt is wil dit niet zeggen dat we ook van Prison Break af zijn.
Prison Break verschijnt namelijk ook als game, en hierin speel je als een ander personage. Dit personage zal echter niet compleet los staan van de serie, zo zul je regelmatig bekende personen namen uit de serie voorbij komen, waarbij we uiteraard ook Lincoln Burrows niet kunnen vergeten.
