E3 of Electronics Entertainment Expo is de grootste gamebeurs op aarde. Na elke show wordt er ook een wedstrijd georganiseerd. Alle nominaties zijn nu binnen en er werden voor elke categorie vijf games overgehouden.
De resultaten van de wedstrijd zullen op 7 juni bekend gemaakt worden. Een jury, bestaande uit een dertigtal leden van de Amerikaanse gamepers, kiest welke game het beste is. In totaal zijn er vijftien awards.
In totaal werden 55 games genomineerd. De best scorende game was Spore met 4 nominaties. Daardoor telt Electronic Arts zestien nominaties. Nintendo staat op de tweede plaats met veertien nominaties. Sony en Microsoft haalden er elk acht.
Op ons forum kun je nu ook zelf stemmen op welke game de volgende titels het meest verdient. De resultaten van die polls zullen op dezelfde dag als de uitreiking van de officiële awards bekend gemaakt worden.
