Voordat iedereen te enthousiast wordt: die helm van Master Chief schijnt eigenlijk wel erg nep te zijn, dus dan is de limited editie misschien een beter optie.
Vraag is natuurlijk of het vierde deel van Halo nu ook in vier uitgaves komt.

deze haal ik dus niet maar ik hoop dat halo wars ook in die limited uitkomt... ziet er strak uit..

ik vindt de legendary wel leuk. als die helm niets is dan ligt al gouw op de vuilnisbelt.

Wat een onzin

Volgens IGN kost de Legendary $129.99. Maar ik zal hem toch wel kopen! En hij komt uit rond september!

The official suggested retail price of the Halo 3 Legendary Edition was released this morning by Microsoft. Prepare for some sticker shock. Previously thought to cost $99.99, the limited release will in fact set you back $129.99. At more than twice the cost of the regular edition, still slated at a $59.99 price, the Legendary Edition is truly for the hardcore fans.

A big-name publisher and well-established development house separately revealed to IGN that Microsoft intends on beating this year's stacked holiday rush with a September release, rather than the assumed November timeframe.

When phoned, a Microsoft representative said it has only publicly confirmed a fall release, with no specific day or month slated.

The developer, which is close with Bungie, said by getting Halo 3 out early it will sell more systems faster and give Microsoft a head start on its competition, which is likely to ship games in the more traditional months of October and November. Halo 3's popularity makes it the perfect killer app and system seller to give Microsoft an edge over Sony's and Nintendo's hefty set of games coming this fall.

The original Halo shipped with the launch of the first Xbox in November 2001. The sequel, Halo 2, shipped in November 2004. With both games, Microsoft's strategy was to give Bungie as much time as possible to hone and polish their title before reaching QA and the finalization process. But this time, Bungie is on schedule and aims to surprise the world by shipping two months earlier than assumed. IGN was told that was the goal, at least. With all development processes, nothing is certain, both added. Halo 3 could need another month or two, pushing it to October or the assumed November slot if necessary.

Ik heb nooit begrepen waarom Halo zo heilig is. Ik vind er echt niks aan. Bovendien ziet Halo 3 er in mijn ogen nog eens lelijk uit ook.

En kan ik er van uit gaan dat ik de legendary gwn weer bij de intertoys kan reserveren, of komt deze niet naar nederland?

Legendary edition is idd erg vet. Maar als ik een helm koop van Master Chief dan moet hij toch wel echt op schaal zijn hoor. Dat is pas supervet, anders niet. Ik ga waarschijnlijk gewoon de limited edition kopen of de gewone.

Ik vind de limited editie meer stijl hebben dan de laatste editie met die helm. Te huge. maar ook weer te klein om leuk te zijn en op je hoofd te dragen. Dus niet kopen.

Ik ga die limited halen, had Halo2 ook special dus deze dan ook

@Joris 4de deel v halo kan toch helemaal niet, het zou een trilogie zijn, echter wat wel mogelijk was, is het feit dat er nog meer games komen met master chief.

Als je een echte HALOfan bent mot je de helm maar kopen...

Limited voor mij, jammer dat de er op de tinnen box geen Halo op staat. Maarjah de Legendary Edition is wel grappig, maar voor mij geen 129,99 euro waard.. koop liever Halo3 LE en een andere leuk spel.

is toch 129,99 dollar ipv euro? of heb ik het nou verkeerd?
