Uit Noord-Amerika en Japan krijgen we regelmatig verkoopcijfers, maar uit Europa komen zelden concrete cijfers.
Gelukkig reikt ELSPA regelmatig awards uit op basis van de verkoopcijfers van de games, wat vandaag gebeurt voor juni, juli en augustus. De Awards worden uitgereikt op basis van totale verkoopcijfers van een game per platform. Mario Kart DS haalt bijvoorbeeld Diamond status, wat betekent dat de game sinds de release één miljoen keer is verkocht. Het wordt ook verdeeld per platform waardoor Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare tweemaal voorkomt, namelijk op de PS3 en de Xbox 360. De volledige database met awards kan hier gevonden worden.
