Toen aangekondigd werd dat de Electronic Entertainment Expo er mee ophield, was dit de ideale kans voor enkele kleine beurzen om door te groeien. Dit geldt ook voor de E For All Expo, een beurs die even groot wil worden als E3, maar ook open is voor het publiek. De beurs vindt zelfs plaats in het Los Angeles Convention Centre, de oude locatie van de E3.
De beurs is nog niet populair bij de publishers, van de consolemakers bijvoorbeeld is enkel Nintendo bereid te komen. Nintendo brengt wel al zijn toppers mee, onder andere Super Mario Galaxy en Super Smash Bros. Brawl zullen voor het eerst voor het grote publiek speelbaar zijn.
