Yooka-Laylee is een retro-platformer met een koddig duo in de hoofdrol. De game stond afgelopen week flink in de spotlights, maar niet altijd even positief. De klassieke gameplay kende namelijk ook wat klassieke problemen, zoals een camera die niet geheel volgt wat je doet.
In tegenstelling tot twintig jaar terug hebben ontwikkelaars nu echter wel de mogelijkheid om hun games op grote schaal te updaten op consoles. De eerste patch die al snel na de release op Xbox One verscheen voor de game verbetert dan ook meteen wat van de grote hekelpunten, waaronder de camera. Bij de release aankomende week op PC en PlayStation 4 zal deze patch ook direct te verkrijgen zijn. Hieronder de complete patch-lijst.

[Fixed] If the player leaves Brreeeze Block’s room in the Icymetric Palace in Glitterglaze Glacier but remains in the world and returns to the same room then the isometric camera will be deactivated
[Fixed] If player is killed by a bizzy in hub B and knocked back into the archive door at the exact same time, the screen will still transition. When the player respawns, they will be unable to move
