et Amerikaanse marktanalysebureau NPD Group schrijft maandelijks een gigantisch onderzoeksrapport over de Amerikaanse game-industrie. Het bedrijf geeft steeds een kleine, interessante samenvatting voor het algemene publiek.
Het was een goede maand met vele nieuwkomers waaronder Battlefield Hardline: Bloodborne, Mario Party 10, MLB 15: The Show, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection en Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Het is dan ook niet verbazend dat de charts vele nieuwkomers bevatten.

Het was made dankzij Bloodborne een excellente maand voor de PlayStation 4 die zowel het meeste software als het meeste hardware verkocht. Nintendo was ook gelukkig, de Nintendo 3DS deed over de eerste drie maanden van 2015 80% beter dan vorig jaar dankzij de New Nintendo 3DS en de Wii U deed 20% beter over dezelfde periode. De Nintendo 3DS eindigde deze maand op ongeveer 260.000 tot 270.000 exemplaren en de Wii U op 80.000 tot 85.000 exemplaren.

Beetje rare titel, aangezien Bloodborne een PS4 Exclusive is vs een multiplatform franchise had ik niets anders verwacht
