Aliens vs. Predator werd in korte tijd zeer vaak verkocht, en het succes zet SEGA volgende week voort met de komst van downloadable content.
Geheel nieuw is de content niet, het betreft namelijk content die ook in de Special Edition van de game zit. Mensen die deze versie echter niet hebben kunnen de content oppikken voor de PC, Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3. De content, bestaande uit vier multiplayer maps, kost 570 MS Points, zo'n zes Euro. De Swarm Map Pack bestaat uit de volgende maps:

• Hive: Deep in the heart of the Freya’s Prospect Refinery lays the Xenomorph Hive. Beware all who enter here.
