Momenteel ontwikkelt Visceral Games Dead Space 3 voor de PC, de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360. In het derde deel wordt de competitieve multiplayer geschrapt en vervangen door een optionele coöperatieve campagne. De game speelt zich af op de ijsplaneet Tau Volantis waar Isaac opnieuw de Necromorph dreiging moet afstoppen.
