Games for Windows is een soort keurmerk van Microsoft voor PC games. Dit om het PC gamen te stimuleren. Vorig jaar verschenen de eerste titels, maar ook dit jaar kunnen we de nodige games verwachten.
Op de elektronicabeurs CES heeft Microsoft gesproken over het succes van Games for Windows en negen nieuwe titels aangekondigd. Deze negen zijn:
• "Alone in the Dark" (Atari)
• "Bionic Commando" (Capcom)
• "Conflict: Denied Ops" (Eidos Interactive)
• "Empire: Total War" (SEGA)
• "LEGO Indiana Jones" (LucasArts)
• "Microsoft Train Simulator 2" (Microsoft Game Studios)
• "Sins of a Solar Empire" (Stardock)
• "Space Siege" (SEGA)
• "Tomb Raider: Underworld" (Eidos Interactive)
Kevin Unangst van Games for Windows meldt dat het aantal games onder het merk al zestig is en dat dit slechts het begin is.
