Volgende maand verschijnt A Plague Tale: Requiem, het vervolg op A Plague Tale: Innocence, en ontwikkelaar Asobo Studio blikt alvast vooruit naar de speltijd.
In de laatste uitgave van het PLAY Magazine laat Lead Level Designer Kevin Pinson weten dat de campaign zo'n vijftien tot achttien uur zal duren. Hierbij benadrukt hij dat deze spelduur niet is "opgevuld" met content die los staat van het verhaal zelf:

“It’s about pacing, there’s no filler, there’s no trying to make it longer because we needed to. Our publisher Focus Interactive encourages us to do the length that we want to do for the game for the story we want to tell. So we’re not aiming for a specific amount of hours. This is not something that we take into account when we first design the game. We are a small team of 70 people so we have to be really drastic about our choices.”
A Plauge Tale: Requiem verschijnt op 18 oktober voor de PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 en, via de cloud, op de Nintendo Switch.
