Nadat Guacamelee goede zaken deed was het logisch dat er ook een vervolg zou verschijnen. Deze game verscheen al eerder op de PC, Nintendo Switch en PlayStation 4 en we weten nu ook wanneer Xbox One gamers met het spel aan de slag mogen.
Ontwikkelaar DrinkBox Studios heeft namelijk bekend gemaakt dat het spel vanaf 18 januri verkrijgbaar is. De release bevat zowel de "Three Enemigos" als de "Proving Grounds" DLC packs en bij een pre-order op de Xbox Marketplace krijg je twintig procent korting.
De studio heeft verder bekend gemaakt dat er ondersteuning is van Xbox Play Anywhere, zodat je het spel op zowel je Xbox One als Windows 10 PC kan spelen. Verder is er ondersteuning voor cross-save, zodat je op het andere platform verder kan gaan waa rje gebleven was.
