Dode pixels zijn het probleem van elk LCD scherm dat er gemaakt wordt. Ook de PSP heeft er last van. PSP Vault heeft nu een oplossing die in meer dan 50% van de gevallen blijkt te werken om die dode pixels kwijt te raken. De methode werkt trouwens niet alleen voor de PSP maar ook voor andere LCD schermen.
Je moet er enkel het onderstaande filmpje voor afspelen op je PSP. Dit filmpje wisselt rode, groene, blauwe en zwarte schermen op hoge snelheid af. Door deze afwisseling kunnen geblokkeerde dode pixels hersteld worden. Het beste wat je kan doen als je geplaagd zit met dode pixels, is het filmpje downloaden en dan enkele uren laten herhalen op je PSP.
