Naast de vele trailers en het nieuws dat er vanaf Gamescom afkomstig was worden er ook awards uitgereikt binnen diverse categorieën. Eén van de grote winnaars is Resident Evil Requiem, die naar huis ging met Best Visuals, Best Audio, Most Epic Games en Best PlayStation Game.
Een andere game die het goed deed was de indietitel Hela, die Most Entertaining en Most Wholesome mee mocht nemen. Ook Anno 117: Pax Romana mocht zich tot winnaar kronen voor Best PC Game en Best Booth.
