Ontwikkelstudio Ubisoft Casablanca zou je kunnen kennen van hun hulp en werk aan Valiant Hearts: The Great War, Child of Light, Rayman Legends en Rayman Fiesta Run. Vandaag volgt helaas minder goed nieuws.
Na achttien jaar komt er een einde aan de studio, Ubisoft heeft namelijk aangekondigd dat ze Casablanca zullen sluiten. Jean-Michel Detoc, de Executive Director van Ubisoft Mobile, laat weten:

“Ubisoft Casablanca has been part of Ubisoft for 18 years, and contributed to a lot of memorable games over the years,especially on portable consoles. Unfortunately, as the video game market evolved in the past few years, we didn’t find a sustainable formula for the studio within our broader network. We thank the Casablanca team for their hard work throughout the years.”
De medewerkers kregen de mededeling vorige week te horen en Ubisoft geeft mogelijkheden om elders te werken, of assistentie voor degene die het bedrijf in zijn geheel verlaten.
