Electronic Entertainment Expo 2006 was de laatste E3 zoals we de beurs van vroeger kende. Wegens de hoge prijs wilden de grote publishers de beurs inkrimpen en dat gebeurde ook. Echter na het vorig jaar het iets kleiner te houden, gaat de E3 beurs weer terug naar de gewoonlijke plek, maar dan zonder de booth babes.
