Cygnus Knights

MapleStory's first premium class is here. A Cygnus Knights character can be created by any player with a level 20 or above character. All Knights begin at level 1 with the Noblesse job. Once a Knight reaches level 10 they can chose to take one of five new jobs; Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Wind Archer, Night Walker, or Thunder Breaker. Cygnus Knights characters can enjoy a new quest line, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th job advancements, and 120 levels of content.

Maker Skill

At level 45 players can now learn the Maker Skill. After learning the skill, player will gain the ability to craft items out of materials found throughout Maple World. Only items level 50 and above can be crafted, and players can only craft items up to 5 levels above their own level. So a level 60 player can craft items up to level 65. Maker Skill can also be used to upgrade crafting materials like gems and to turn unneeded equipment items into crafting material.

Blessing of the Fairy

Blessing of the Fairy is a passive skill that all Cygnus Knights characters receive upon making their first job advancement. This skill increases the stats of both the Cygnus Knights character and the regular character used to create it based on each character's level. If the regular character used to create the Cygnus Knights character is deleted, the Cygnus Knights character's Blessing of the Fairy will remain the same level. If the Cygnus Knights character is deleted, the regular character used to create it will have it's Blessing of the Fairy skill level reduced to 0 until that character is used to create another Cygnus Knights character.

Vicious' Hammer Item

Vicious' Hammer is a Cash Shop item that can be used on any piece of equipment to increase that item's upgrade slots by 1. Vicious' Hammer can be used on an item a maximum of 2 times. Items that have had Vicious' Hammer applied to them will not be eligible for MTS at this time. MTS service for Vicious' Hammer items will become available at a later date.

New Plastic Surgery

Two new faces have been added for each gender to the Henesys, Orbis, and Mu Lung plastic surgeon's regular and VIP plastic surgery.

New Skin Colors

Green and Pink skin colors are now available at all skin shops in MapleStory.

MTS Service Charge Change

MTS service charge has been changed to a 500NX base transaction fee and a 7% of sale price transaction fee.

Elemental Wand Changes

Bishops have been rebalanced to receive a penalty for using an Elemental Wand or Staff without the Holy element to use Holy skills.

New and Improved Gachapon Box Event: Lost Miwok Artifacts

Event period: 07.29.2009 ~ 08.25.2009. Help Kopee and Toh recover the lost Miwok artifacts by hunting monsters all over Maple World. Monsters will be dropping Miwok Artifacts (Gachapon Boxes) and Miwok Artifact Pieces. Take Miwok Artifacts and an Enchanted Scroll (available in the Cash Shop) to Toh to recover the treasure inside. Use an Enchanted Scroll on 20 Miwok Artifacts and get a special Miwok Chief's Chair. You can also speak to Kopee to begin a quest to create a powerful ring.

Cygnus Knight In-Game Events

Event period: 07.29.2009 ~ 09.22.2009. Reach level 10 with any Cygnus Knights character and receive 2 Safety Charms. Reach level 70 with any Cygnus Knights character and receive a weapon and 2 upgrade scrolls according to your class.

Dawn Warrior: Scroll for One-Handed Sword for ATT 60%

Wind Archer: Scroll for Bow for ATT 60%

Blaze Wizard: Scroll for Wand for Magic ATT 60%

Night Walker: Scroll for Knuckler for ATT 60%

Thunder Breaker: Scroll for Claw for ATT 60%

The first 20 Cygnus Knights characters in each world to acquire the Cygnus mounts will receive the following prizes:

First 20 to acquire Mimio will receive: (1) Scroll of Shoes for Speed and (50) Power Elixirs.

First 20 to acquire Mimiana will receive: (5) Onyx Apples and (100) Power Elixirs.

Hallo iedereen!

Met de patch van vandaag hebben wij een aantal tekst bestanden geupdate. Voor de rest zijn er geen veranderingen geweest m.b.t. het spel en de codering hiervan.

De nieuwe versie .1853 bevat enkel wat lokale updates.

Team Fortress 2 - 14 juli 2009

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Linux Dedicated Server

* Improved connection logic to help servers that aren't automatically reconnecting to Steam

Engine

* Fixed seeing error dialogs if the "-nocrashdialog" command line parameter is present

Team Fortress 2

* Added an optional per-map particle manifest called _particles.txt, which should be located in the maps directory, so map authors can load custom particle files
* Fixed minicrits resulting in reduced damage for weapons at close ranges
* Fixed the Cloak and Dagger not regenerating at the correct rate
* Fixed setinfo exploit that allowed restricted convars to be set while connected to a server
* Fixed tournament mode being interrupted if mp_timelimit hits before both stopwatch rounds have been played
* Fixed "jointeam unassigned" exploit
* Fixed being able to respawn during the chat time before a level change
* Fixed "sensitivity" ConVar not capping the upper value which sometimes caused a server crash
* Prevented some exploits based on mat_dxlevel being changed in-game
* Updated ripple effects for water drips to improve performance

Cygnus Knights

Nieuwe Kenmerken

* Planting Systeem
o Spelers kunnen nu hun eigen planten kweken; deze leveren ruwe materialen op voor crafting. Pak eenvoudigweg een pot, wat zaden, water en kunstmest en vervoer dat naar je huis en draag zorg voor je planten.
o In Logar, naast de burgemeester in Varanas is een nieuwe NPC dat je alles verteld over het nieuwe system.
o Let op: Planten kunnen ook als decoratie gebruik worden in huizen. Klik op “lock” en zet ze vast in je huis.
* Gepersonaliseerde Huizen
o Spelers kunnen hun huizen nu aanpassen. Het is nu mogelijk verschillende stijlen en opstellingen uit te proberen, waardoor het meer dan ooit een echt huis is.
o Een nieuw interface element verschijnt en maakt het mogelijk tussen verschillende lay-outs te schakelen etc.
o Let op: Alle bestaande meubelen worden terug gezet in de “un-placed” status en moeten dus opnieuw geplaatst worden.
* Goblin Mijn Mini-game
o In Aslan is een NPC dat nieuwe spelers uitnodigt mee te doen in een traditioneel Goblin spel. Spelers kunnen hier titels en vette prijzen mee winnen.
* Episch Wapen Quest (Lv. 50)
o (???) Deze nieuwe quest maakt stelt nieuwe wapens ter beschikking. Praat met de NPC in het Obsidian Fortress.

Veranderingen

* Veranderingen in Crow Control skills
o Alle skills die een doel “hulpeloos” laten, zoals Slow, Stun, Root, Fear, Reduced Attack accuracy en Sleep zijn veranderd. De veranderingen waren nodig om de tegenstander (zeker in PvP) een kans te geven om terug te vechten, in plaats van afgeslacht te worden.
o In PvP zijn de skills minder efficiënt dan voorheen. Voorbeeld: De Numbing Dagger (op lv. 50) maakte een monster “hulpeloos” voor 30 seconden. In PvP is dit teruggebracht tot 15 seconden.
o Hoe vaker dezelfde skill tegen dezelfde tegenstander in PvP wordt gebruikt, hoe minder effectief (in duur) deze wordt. Eerst zal de Numbin Dagger bijvoorbeeld 15 seconden effectief zijn, de tweede keer 10, dan 5 seconden.
o Monsters die eenzelfde skill gebruiken ondervinden hetzelfde: Hun skill effect wordt ook telkens verminderd in effectiviteit.
o Spelers die hun skills tegen monsters inzetten hebben geen last van bovenstaande effecten.
* Functionaliteit van het rijdier icoontje veranderd
o Het is nu mogelijk een rijdier te gebruiken door met de rechter muisknop op het icoontje te klikken.
o Om af te stappen is het nu mogelijk om op het icoontje in de inventory te klikken met de rechter muisknop.
o Wisselen tussen rijdieren kan nu door op een ander rijdier te klikken met de rechter muisknop in de inventory, zonder eerst af te stappen.
* Het is niet langer nodig voor lvl. 7 guilds om 10 guild stones te verzamelen voordat ze naar lv. 8 kunnen verhogen.
* De Spider King's Poison van de tutorial is nu gebonden en kan niet langer verhandeld worden en wordt ook niet gedropped bij PK.
* Ystra Labyrinth - Imperial Refuge: Dinnai Family Bag: De bag bevat niet langer 60 Pieces of Solid Energy maar Ancestral Spirit Herbs of Elemental Spirit Stones.

Skill veranderingen

* (???) Electric Attack - de skill's waarden voor lv. 35 en lv. 45 zijn veranderd.
* Freeze - de lv. 0 versie van deze skill heeft nu een duur van 5 seconden ipv 10.
* Poison – het effect is nu "Poisoned", en kan verwijderd worden door antidote skills.

Toevoegingen

* Nieuwe blauwe recepten toegevoegd.
* (???) De introductie van een nieuwe Magical Gift Bag. Bij het openen van het karakter kun je één van de volgende items krijgen: Elegant Engraved Chair, Safety Fireplace, Bear Head Trophy, Square Red Carpet, Experience Potion en Skill Potion. (???)

Item Shop Veranderingen / Bug Fixes

* Effecten van Potions verkrijgbaar via de Item Shop zijn niet langer stackbaar. Dit is gedaan om ongewenste bijwerkingen te voorkomen.
* Van de volgende meubels van de Item Shop zijn de beschrijvingen gecorrigeerd. Aan deze items werden bonussen toegeschreven die ze niet hadden:
o Double Door Wood Pattern Cabinet
o Exquisite Engraved Wooden Cabinet
o Tall Engraved Wooden Cabinet
o Simple Storage Cabinet
o Classical Engraved Cabinet
o Bar Cabinet
o Marble Magic Cabinet

Bug Fixes

* Een aantal materiaaleisen van recepten zijn gefixed.
* Roping's Blessing buff timer tikt nu ook offline door.
* Guilds lager dan lv. 5 kunnen geen Guild Wars meer starten.
* Een bug dat rijdieren lichter van kleur maakte is gefixed.
* Gathering Encyclopedia (30 Dagen): de beschrijving is aangepast. Nu staat er ‘skill’ ipv ‘experience’.
* Skill Practice Encyclopedia II (30 Dagen): de beschrijving is nu correct: "Limited to characters between level 31 and 40".

Bekende Problemen

* De Windrunner Minigame is tijdelijk gedeactiveerd door een technisch problem. Deze feature zal terugkomen wanneer dit probleem is gefixed.
* Onder bepaalde omstandigheden is het mogelijk dat de-/buffs van monsters geen mouse-over omschrijving laten zien.

World of Warcraft - 3.1.3

General

Death Knights

* Frost Presence: Armor bonus is now 60% down from 80%.

Druids

* Improved Barkskin: This talent now also grants 80/160% additional armor while in Travel Form or not shapeshifted.
* Improved Tree of Life: The armor bonus to Tree of Life Form from this talent has been reduced to 67/133/200% bonus armor.

Hunters

* Hunter's Mark: The ranged attack power bonus from this ability has been increased from 300 to 500.
* Master Marksman: This talent now also decreases the cost of Aimed Shot and Chimera Shot by 5/10/15/20/25%.

Paladins

* Eye For An Eye: This talent now deals 5/10% of the critical strike damage taken by the paladin back at the attacker.
* Hand of Freedom: The base duration of this buff has been reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.

Rogues

* Overkill: Talent redesigned. Now increases energy regeneration by 30% while stealthed, and for 20 seconds after breaking stealth.

Warlocks

* Chaos Bolt: This spell no longer ignores damage reduction effects of the target.

Warriors

* Blood Frenzy: This talent now provides 5/10% haste instead of 3/6%.
* Bloodthirst: Cooldown reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds, and rage cost reduced from 30 rage to 20 rage.
* Juggernaut: This talent now also increases the cooldown on Charge by 5 seconds.

Items

* Death Knight PvP Gauntlets: The chance to refresh a Frost Rune when casting Chains of Ice has been removed. When equipped, these gloves now generate 5 additional runic power whenever Chains of Ice is used.

Dungeons

* Ulduar
o Mimiron
+ The flight time of Rocket Strikes has been increased, and Rocket Strikes will try to prefer players at range.
+ The Leviathan Mk II component of the V-07-TR-0N will become stunned during Phase 4 when the VX-001 component begins to cast the P3Wx2 Laser Barrage ability.
+ Proximity mines now deal less damage and have a lower duration. A small arming time has also been added so proximity mines will not immediately detonate on creation.

Bug Fixes

* Druid Tier 8 Balance Set: The 4-piece bonus no longer has its effect consumed by Starfire casts in progress when it triggers. The chance for the effect to be triggered has been reduced down to 8%, as it was originally inflated to compensate.
* Ice Layered Barrier: Upgraded to item level 232. In addition, the stats in the tooltip have been correctly adjusted to 78 spell power, 48 haste rating, 16 mana per 5 seconds, 52 Intellect, and 50 Stamina.
* Pulsing Spellshield: The stats listed in the tooltip for this item were incorrect and have been adjusted. This item provides 69 spell power, 34 haste rating, 42 critical strike rating, 45 intellect, and 45 stamina.
