In 2008 brengt Sega de The House of the Dead serie naar de Wii met The House of the Dead 2&3 Return. Dat is mogelijk niet het laatste deel op de Wii.
Moest blijken dat The House of the Dead 2&3 Return een succes is, zal ook The House of the Dead 4 verschijnen op de Wii. Ook Typing of the Dead komt dan mogelijk naar de console.
