Enkele maanden geleden verscheen The Sims 4 op de PC, een game die wij destijds een 75 gaven in onze recensie. In de tussentijd heeft ontwikkelaar Maxis de nodige (gratis) updates toegevoegd en ook een Mac versie is aanstaande.
Een specifieke releasedatum ontbreekt nog, maar via het officiële Twitter kanaal leren we wel dat deze versie volgende maand zal worden uitgebracht. Gamers die reeds beschikken over de PC versie kunnen de Mac uitgave kosteloos downloaden.
Inmiddels is ook de Outdoor Retreat update uitgebracht, waarbij onze Sims kunnen kamperen, een vakantie op kunnen nemen bij Granite Falls en speciale, unieke collectibles kunnen verzamelen. Een compleet overzicht:

Gather around the Campfire – Treat your Sims to some roasted marshmallows and tell fireside stories of adventure, wonder and fright for the whole gang.
Create Exotic Potions as an Herbalist – Build your Sim’s herbalism skill to create a variety of useful potions, from insect repellent to a concoction that can help soothe a tense Sim. This new skill will be useful to help Sims identify which wild plants are edible or poisonous.
