Afgelopen augustus verscheen Abzû als digitale release op de PC en PlayStation 4, uitgever 505 Games heeft bekend gemaakt dat het spel ook naar retail komt.
In de winkels kun je het spel voor een bedrag van $19,99 aanschaffen op de PlayStation 4 en Xbox One. Het is hiermee de eerste keer dat Xbox One gamers met het spel aan de slag kunnen.
De retail versie komt met een exclusieve theme op de PlayStation 4 en exclusieve achtergronden op de Xbox One. Mocht je nu werkelijk geen idee hebben over welke game het gaat; de uitgever legt het zelf als volgt aan je uit:
