Legacy of the Void is het laatste stand-alone deel van de StarCraft II trilogy die deze winter al verschijnen. Door het spel in de pre-order te zetten krijg je direct toegang tot de Whispers of Oblivion proloog missies.
Het plaatsen van een pre-order kan via Battle.net of via één van de deelnemende retailers. De Whipers of Oblivion proloog bevat de legendarische Dark Templar Zeratul. Hiernaast krijg je tevens toegang tot de doorgaande beta test.
